thanks Michael but i actually found the source of my problem. it was dhcp errors that were causing IP conflicts.

ok thanks for the help. I will upgrade to 9.7.1.0.30 at my next maintenance window. 1 question: I assign static IP's to each of my AP's. Is the recommendation to keep them on DHCP?

thanks for the reply. none of the AP's are on a remote site. they are in a different office than the one i am in but they have their own ZD in that office. the only thing that is different about those APs are that they are on a separate vlan from ...

as a follow up i can not reach my ZD controller at all anymore via web page or ssh. so maybe this is all hardware failure.
