If you have macOS or Linux, use screen, its a serial terminal emulator.If you have Windows, use PuTTY with that cable yes.

Bit far from me. Instead of using PuTTY and USB to ethernet, I would try using screen and a USBC to USB cord. Use the USBC port to the left of the status button.Otherwise, some of the other technicians on here may be able to provide more assistance.
