need to upgrade zd1200 with r610 AP current version 10.1.0.0 build 1515 to go 10.5.1.0 build 279

Hi to all.

i ́m newbie with ruckus. I have some questions.

I ́m now on a ZD1200 installation with this version of software installed: 10.1.0.0 build 1515
With r610, that are compatible with the last Firmware version. i nee to go zd1200_10.5.1.0 build 279

Could you tell me if its recommended to go to last version? Usually on IT we say, don ́t touch if works...

You can see in the release notes, here, that you can upgrade directly to the latest 10.5.1 release. The upgrade process will automatically roll-back if it encounters problems.

There are many nice changes since 10.1, so I personally found the upgrade worthwhile.

Ruckus already published the release notes for 10.5.1 refresh 9, so maybe wait a little and install this, assuming there aren't lots of problems reported here.

One thing to watch out for is if you have any firewalls between your ZD1200 & your APs: they removed FTP functionality in recent versions, so you'll need to open different ports.
