Ruckus needs an easily removed sticker on the AP with serial number and mac address. This will allow installers to stick them on the install plan maps and not have to break out a pen and write a bunch of information down on paper for the customer. Xirrus does this and it is quite convenient.

SWIPE is a SCG (inclusive of SCG-200, and vSCG) only application.

There is a different application that only works with ZoneDirectors (all flavors), called ZoneDirector Remote Control. It doesn't address this use case, but it does other things.

I've hard partners use bluetooth barcode readers hooked to their phones running a standard spreadsheet app pre-listed with all the AP locations. installer would simply find the location in the spreadhseet, tap the cell next to it, scan the barcode, and save.

Once they're all done, it's easy to import that Excel sheet into the controller with some scripting magic. Primitive, but works.
