Ruckus AP 320 not discover on ZD1200

Hi,

I have an AP R320 with firmware version R320_114.0.0.0.1360, I want to link it to a ZD1200 controller version 10.1.1.0 build 55 but it does not detect it to approve it.
In this controller I have 7 AP R610 and 2 AP R600 working.
In the AP R320 I have defined the IP address of the ZD1200 controller in Administratio / Management / Primary Controller Addr.
I have a ZD1100 controller version 9.10.2.0 build 53 that when the AP R320 I apply a Reset to factory settings the ZD1100 controller detects it to approve it but I want to add it to the ZD1200 controller.
The ZD1200 controller is licensed to add the R320 AP.
What is the reason why the ZD1200 controller does not detect the AP 320 to approve it?

Hi Valmur,

R320 AP model is not supported on 10.1.1 version.

Please upgrade the ZD to at least 10.2.1 and R320 should connect without any issues. Refer the below release notes for more information.

I have a same problem.

I have R320 with firmware version 200.7.10.2.339, I want to link it to a Smart zone 100 controller version 5.1.1.0.598 but it does not detect it to approve it.
In this controller.

I have 114 AP H320, H510, R310 working.

I think should change firmware R320 or upgrade firmware SZ100 right please advice.

If you read release notes for 10.1.1.0, you'll see that R320 is not supported by ZD1200 10.1.1.0 software, so you need to upgrade ZD1200 to newer version, ZD1100 also doesn't support R320, it just shows all Ruckus APs, but can't connect any new models.

This is always the very first thing to check -- if your controller software version supports AP you want to connect.
