How can i resolve this issue, RESCUE MODE for ZONEDIRECTOR 1100, system can't boot the ZONE DIRECTOR Image correctly?

Sadly, not working. I think the ZD1100 has gone south on me.
I bought the ZD1100 at an estate sale along with an R700 (which appears to work fine). The ZD1100 had been opened (before i bought it) and the USB drive had been removed. I replaced it with a drive of my own (16GB) but it did not make any difference in the operation. I also noticed that the MAC address did not appear as correct. That last three sets of the address were all ZEROES, which did not match the label on the bottom of the ZD1100.
I have a second ZD1100 which I also bought at the estate sale and I will try that one next. This has turned out be a harder project than I imagined! All for the sake of a wireless access point!

One final question (hopefully): where do I find the "Setup Wizard"? was it on a CD or is burned into the devices? I can't seem to find anything on it.

Hi @uplinkal
For ZD, you can find the setup wizard only when you do the Factory Reset.
You can login to the GUI after the Factory Reset and it will redirect to Setup Wizard.

I have stablished that the first Zone Director 1100 has failed and that it is missing the internal USB drive. I have a second unit which I have powered up and reset, it will not login using 192.168.0.2. It gives me an error message telling that "The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite." What does that mean and how can I correct it. These units were both purchased used at a bankruptcy/estate sale so I am not the original owner.
