One SSID, two VLANs

Hello,

I'm currently running a ZoneDirector 1200.  I'd like to setup one SSID with two VLANs, one for AD joined laptops and the other for all other devices (Smart phones, non-domain joined computers).  Is this something the ZoneDirector can handle?  I'm getting mixed responses and my attempts using network policies isn't panning out.

Thank you for any assistance you can offer!

Hi @ngrybst

You can achieve assiging differnet VLANs on same SSID by enabling the dynamic VLAN.

What are Dynamic VLANs?
Dynamic VLANs are available when RADIUS authentication such as 802.1X is used for a Wireless LAN. It
allows the ZoneDirector use VLAN information returned from a RADIUS server as part of user
authentication. This allows an administrator to place users into different VLANs even though they used
the same SSID.
Please refer to the User guide on how the Dynamic VLAN works.
