Hi,
Could someone please advice a method to disable client inactivity timeout feature as I need some wifi devices connected all the time. They sometime will not communicate more than 500min.

how "0" would work?

Hi Jimmy,

Am sorry to say but the value cannot be "0"

Following our user guide.

Inactivity Timeout: Enter a value in minutes after which idle stations will be disconnected (1 to 10 minutes).

Martin

Hi Jimmy,

The developers hard-code a maximum 500 minute inactivity timeout, so you
don't have idle devices taking up your DHCP leases. Martin, if your firmware
only allows 1-10 minutes, you might be on 9.7.1/9.8.0 which had an ER-1553
temporary 10 minute max, reverted to 500 minute max in 9.8.1+. and like it had
been before 9.8.1.

Michael, you are totally right it was changed in 9.8.1+

Thanks Michael/Martin.

we will find another way to keep them awaken. Requirement is to leave connected some static-ipn wifi devices, sometimes they are not communicate server more than 500min.

Cheers,
Jimmy
