Announcement: ZD 9.12.2.0.204 MR Patch 1 Release (.201 update)

   An important update for ZoneDirectors, version 9.12.2.0.204 Patch 1 has just been posted

to Support downloads page for ZD1200, ZD3000, and ZD5000 model controllers.


    Two important fixes have been incorporated, for an 802.3af PoE issue for R710s, and

an incorrect channel utilization in 2.4GHz.  Original 9.12.2.0.201 had wrong inner firmware

version info on some ac model APs.

Good advice Max - Look in the firmware Release Notes for supported APs.

Gerald, good news, T300/T301 and R600 are all supported under ZD since version 9.8.1.0.101, so 9.8.3.0.14 will support 7025, R600, and T300s.

Hmm, seems like after updating to this firmware on ZD1200, it claims to have updated my r500 to 9.13:

2016/03/11 09:31:25 Low AP[r500] image has been upgraded from [9.12.2.0.101] to [9.13.0.0.63]

Is this just a version number artifact?

Uh oh, looks more than cosmetic. The R500 simply won't mesh with the other AP's.

Hi John,

I'd like to look into this.  Can you please save a ZD debug and SSH into an R500, login with
your ZD admin credentials, and save a "show version" output, and please email it to me
'michael.brado@ruckuswireless.com', so I can investigate?

We have not built/shipped any 9.13.x firmware yet.

Just did, thanks for the quick response as always! BTW, the R500 eventually did mesh and join.
