ZD3000 CHANGE

Hello, I have a similiar situation like another question posted...

I have to change a ZD3000 (25 licenses) broken,
I bought a ZD3000 (50 licenses) reconditioned,
I do NOT have the configuration of the old ZD3000.
Will the APs (ZF7982) recognize the new ZD3000 ?
They are in a warehouse at 30-50 feet height, so they are difficult to access all of them :(
Can I buy a telephone support package to assist in replacing the ZD controllerunit?

Hi Nat,

You may have to give the same IP/subnet, Gateway, Management VLAN  configuration which was given to the old Zone Director 3000(25 license) to the new ZD 3000(50 License). That way, AP's would try to rejoin the new ZD.

Of course you can. If you purchased a new Unit, I would suggest you to contact our support hotline and validate if this Unit already have Support contract.
