Two ZoneFlex R300 - Same SSID, Same Channel, will it boost the signal or extend the coverage?

Hi,
We got two R300 Zoneflex APs. If I configure them to use same SSID and I don't know if same channel is selected, will it boost the signal or extend the coverage. It is a warehouse with lots of racks and we are using Motorola Handheld devices. When our supplier tested the signal strength, one AP was found to be enough, but they suggested to use two APs for stronger signal and strength in case of multiple devices being connected.

Exact same SSID name & PSK, assuming your using pre-shared key.  If you still have problems with sticky clients/AP's you can try adjusting your power levels down on the AP's to entice clients to roam to a closer AP.

In your warehouse environment, use full power, and locate your APs on opposite ends of the racks for best coverage.

Avoid mounting them near any obvious source of interference like machinery, lighting, heating/AC vents, etc.

You don't get the real-time channel control that being managed by a ZD provides, but if you reboot your APs once in

a while, they will always choose the best channel found when they restart, or you can enable Channelfly for a specified

period of time before turning it off.
