Hi guys,

Can someone guide or correct me with my set up, I have 3 SSID set up on ZF7982 Standalone  ( with latest firmware ) on both band 2.4 & 5Ghz and wondering if I have them set up correctly or wrong
My set up goes as follow:

SSID#1   2.4Ghz & 5Ghz for legacy AV...

SSID#2   2.4Ghz & 5Ghz for laptop, Tablet, Smartphone...

SSID#3   2.4Ghz & 5Ghz for Guests & Wife Hair Salon Guests...

Need to be able to roam thru both levels of the house.
Is this ok or need different approaches.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, I read "roam thru the house"... No problem if only one AP at home!

Forgot to mention that I also have ubiqui unifi 2.4ghz that I will remove soon I get Ruckus running smoothly.because it's only 2.4 and I need to get advantage of 5Ghz.
Unifi speed test give me 32mb while Ruckus give me 85mb with current setup.

Hi Michael,
Quick location and speed question.
I have the 7982 AP right now in Basement ceiling because that where's most my AV equipments .
All are working very smooth great connection .
Test speed showing 80Mb /upload 17mb in all 3 Wi-Fi upstairs in family room .
My question is if I run the cable in main floor ceiling and mmount the AP there do this will improve?
My ISP gave me 150 mb download and 20 upload.

Thanks
