Apple products disconnecting when going into sleep

I am running a ZD1125 on 9.8.0.0 build 373, I have mostly ZF7363 APs.

I have just started integrating a hotspot service to authenticate guests with.

It most works fine, but I am getting reports from a lot of users (mainy apple users but also some android users) that when they lock their device they are having to log back in every few minutes. I have also tested with a non hotspot service wlan and it is having the same issue.

The Inactivity Timeout is set to 60 minutes and on the hotspot service the Session Timeout is set to 1440 minutes.

Hi John,

idle timeout will help you in this situation . Try 'no grace-period' command and see if it works for you .

Basically Idle timeout delete the client from the controller, if the client shutdown the laptop or a device goes to sleep and doesn't respond to the AP, this timer starts counting down and kick off the client when timer expires .

Thanks
Munish

Ah yes I had read about this and had seen some information about this helping but when I looked at the advanced settings for the WLAN I cant see any Grace period settings so believed it had been removed from the later versions.

Has it been moved somewhere else?
