ruckus r750 master unleashed and running h350 on mesh

Hello I am running r750 as master and i got h350 running on unleash for some reason they keep loosing heart beat I cant figure out why

Thank you for reaching out regarding the heartbeat connectivity issue between your R750 (Master AP) and H350 APs.

Based on the Unleashed behavior, a “heartbeat loss” indicates that the member AP is intermittently unable to communicate with the Master AP over the network. When this occurs, the AP may temporarily disconnect and attempt to rejoin the cluster.

Possible Causes:

• Layer 2 connectivity instability between APs
• VLAN or management network mismatch between Master and Member AP
• Network interruptions (packet loss, latency, or STP events)

Recommended Checks:

1. Verify both APs are on the same management VLAN and can ping each other consistently
2. Check switch configuration:
   • VLAN tagging/untagging consistency
   • No STP blocking or port flapping
3. Monitor switch port status for errors, drops, or link flaps

Next Steps:

If the issue persists,We request to create a support case via support portal and  please share the following for further analysis:

• AP support logs (Master and H350)
• Switch port configuration and logs
• Network topology diagram
