SSID not getting IP from DHCP server

Hello,
I have 4 R550 APs with unleashed version and I have 2 SSID Office and Guest. All the APs are connected to ICX 7150 Access switch and then to ICX 7550 L3 switch and then to gateway Fortinet Firewall.
SSID Office and Guest are mapped to VLAN 102 and 140 respectively, I have created trunk between AP and Switch and from access to L3 switch, I can ping to VLAN 102 and 140 gateway from my L2 switch, but I am getting IP in VLAN 1 management range. What went wrong? I can also ping DHCP server from my L2 switch.

Hi @WiFi_GURU,

I hope you have configured the correct VLAN on each WLAN under advanced setting, if not, please verify.

In RUCKUS, default VLAN 1 is an untagged VLAN (and VLAN1 cannot be tagged) and as soon as you change it from 1 to any other VLAN, it becomes a tagged VLAN.

Below is the basin configuration you need to do:

  1. Switch port mode Trunk on SW side
  2. Tag the desired VLAN which you are going to use for the different WLANs.
  3. Make sure same VLAN is configured under WLAN advanced settings.
