After experiencing intermittent performance issue (ping loss, total disconnect) with our P300-P300 bridge setup we looked into logs and found following happening in regular interval. The APs are 1.6KM apart and no aparent LoS issue.
The performance drops happen time to time and not permanent.
Is the below log normal? I am concerned about the daemon.err message.

looks like P2P is on auto channel and link is NOT stable due to regular interference. See if using a static channel might minimize the issue..

I have already set the ROOT to static channel. Still getting the error messages.
After checking non-root node, I see that it is still showing AUTO. But I couldn't find where to set STATIC in non-root mode?

You don't set Non-Roots, as they will scan for and follow the Root AP.

Thanks for the confirmation. Can you please explain the significance of the of the daemon.err message? I am attaching a screenshot for wireless status page. Signal strength frequently dips to 1-bar (rssi below 10). Should I try changing the channel width to 20?
