Is there any way to disable band-steering?

We have a lot of handheld terminals running Windows CE and have constant client connectivity issues whenever we use 5Ghz. I'd rather not remove 5Ghz (current workaround) if I could disable band-steering to see if this is the cause....

If you assign each band to it's own SSID (i.e SSID-24, SSID-5 etc) that should do it.

To keep the same SSID but to disable band steering:
I think you can set the band-steering threshold to zero.

Be careful..
It's possible this config change will not persist through a reboot.
