CLI password for APs

Hello, 

has anybody an idea which password i have to use for cli access when an AP was connected to our VSZ Controller

We had never set a special password for this.

In the vsz GUI for the AP Zone i can see AP Admin Login , Login ID = admin , Password is hidden ( ***** ) , i have no chance to see.

Changing it could be nice, but the AP i try to get access is not connected to the vsz but reachable in my network.I get a login prompt but the cedentials i try are wrong.

Has anybody an idea ?

Thank you for reaching out to RUCKUS Support via the Community Forum.

Could you please confirm the SmartZone (SZ) firmware version currently in use?

Please note that starting with AP Zone version 5.1.1 and above, the AP login password is hashed and unrecoverable.

For APs that are online and operational within the SZ, the login password can be changed at the Zone level. However, for offline APs, a factory reset will be required. Post-reset, the default credentials are:

Username: super
Password: sp-admin
