Ethernet is fine but none of the Access Points are working suddenly, Wifi network lost.

Yes, you can perform the Switch upgrade from the MAC but its lil tedious. However, it will be easier on the Windows machines.
I suggest you upgrade your Switch using Option-1 from the guide using USB pen drive and let me know if you have any issues.

I've performed a reset on the switch and cable modem at the same time and things are back to normal.
