R850 in home environment not that impressed

I have 2 r850's in my home. I'm kind of bummed at its performance. I came from using 2 orbis. 2800 sq ft one story ranch. One placed at each corner of the house. I have a lot of devices dropping down to 2.4ghz, while my orbi was always 5ghz. Any suggestions??? I'm running unleashed.
