Hello,
I switched to a new ISP [fiber optic] and my Ruckus system Wi-Fi is stopped working.
Here is the setup:
Fiber Optic cable-->Modem-->Wifi Router-->Ruckus Swtich [port#11]-->4 Ruckus APs
Setup in bold above is new. Modem and WiFi router is provided by the ISP.
When I connect my laptop via a LAN cable to Ruckus Switch [and turn laptop's WiFi off] I can access internet; there by leading me to conclude that Rucks Switch is getting internet; but there is not Wi-Fi internet connectivity.

Can you please tell me how to upgrade Switch version?
08-08-2023 08:34 AM
Hi @ruckus_houston
Greetings!!!
Thank you for the response and the update.
Please follow the below steps explaining the Upgrade process.
The recommended stable version is 8095g (08.0.95g)
The Upgrade path would be: 08080d (your current version)>>8080f>>8095g
(PLEASE NOTE: Ignore 8095h and use 08095g patch in place of 8095h as explained in the guide)
Your Upgrade folder should contain these 3 files shown in the below screenshot: (Refer the guide link for more information)
Below are the options or methods to perform the Upgrade on the switch: You could choose any one of these.
1st Option:
1. In this option, we will use a pen drive or USB flash drive in which we move the files to the pen drive and connect it to the Switch then through CLI we execute the commands to upgrade the Switch using the following guide as a reference:
How to Upgrade a Switch ICX-7150-C12P using a USB flash drive
2nd Option:
2. The following guide is an example of an upgrade via TFTP server, by using an application (FREE) to send files or upload remote files to a device, in our case, we will use it to update a new version to the Switch, basically it will send the image version remotely from the computer to the switch.
How to upgrade a Switch ICX7150-C12P via TFTP
3rd Option:
3. In this option we Upgrade the Switch from the Web Interface (GUI) of switch.
Try to access your switch from a web browser by pasting the below URL in http or https form whichever that works.
https://0.0.0.0 or http://0.0.0.0 (IP address of Switch. 0.0.0.0 is just as an example)
As you can access CLI, I would suggest you follow the 2nd option.
Please let me know if you get stuck at any point of the process and let me know if have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience.

Hi @ruckus_houston
Greetings!!!
Thank you for the response and the information you shared.
Please note, we have to create a new folder (We mentioned a folder with the name ‘Upgrade’ as an example) and we have to add those 3 files to that folder from the 08080f and 08095g zip files we download.
Please refer to the 2nd option link in which we have mentioned all the steps clearly. (sharing the link once again below)
Below are the folder shown in the screenshots where you can get those 3 files:
08080f folder:
Your Upgrade folder should contain these 3 files shown in below screenshot: (Refer to the guide link for more information)
Please refer to my Upgrade post and the Upgrade link we have mentioned all the processes step-by-step.
Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
