Network Issue

Chaycen
New Contributor

Not sure if I’m posting in the correct location. I have whatever ruckus equipment came with the Lennar Smart home package. Never had an issue until last night. Double checked with Century Link and there are no outages or issues with my service. However, the only network I’m experiencing issues with is my Ruckus Unleashed protected network. I’ve unplugged both the Century Link router and the Ruckus equipment multiple times. I have no idea what the sudden issue is and looking for any assistance in getting my network back up. Thanks

Hi @Chaycen

Thank you for the response and the update.

Yes, now both the partitions are on the SPS code. (Please refer to the below screenshot)

Now your Internet connectivity via RUCKUS Network should be stable.

Please check and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Hi @Chaycen

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the update.

Try to access CLI using Telnet from the MAC terminal as described below.

Example "open terminal":

Telnet: Example

nc 10.0.0.132 23 (Format is : nc <ip address of the switch> 23)

If you can access the Command line should look like below:

????telnet@ICX7150-12P Switch>

If you can log in, please share the output of the commands shared previously or share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any), and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

The command does nothing in the terminal. I’ve tried multiple times and verified the Ruckus IP was correct in two different applications but nothing happens after the command is entered.

Hi @Chaycen

Thank you for the response and the information you shared.

If you are unable to access the CLI/Telnet, could you please try to access the IP Address on a web browser?

Please try to access the IP Address you are using to access Telnet, you should see the Switch Dashboard as shown in the below screenshot to confirm it’s a Switch IP Address.

Please check the other IP Addresses from the IP scan results, by the name of Ruckus Wireless or Brocade Communications to confirm the IP address of the Switch and try to access it.

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Using the IP address brought me to a ruckus website which I logged into and got to a Ruckus dashboard. What do I do from here?

Sorry for the longer delay in replies, my work week has started so I can only attempt these solutions in the morning while I’m still at home.

Hi @Chaycen

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the information you shared.

The dashboard you are seeing on the web browser is of RUCKUS Unleashed and not of the ICX-7150-C12P Switch.

You should see the Switch Dashboard as shown in the below screenshot to confirm it’s a Switch IP Address.

Please check the other IP Addresses from the IP scan results, by the name of Ruckus Wireless or Brocade Communications to confirm the IP address of the Switch.

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
