ICX7150 not powering up at all

Hi Imran,

I did apply your steps but same result comes up. When I powering up the device, amber lights blinks once after that the device going to be a dead. There is nothing. I did try that reset bottom no lights comes up. I am pretty much sure need a replacement. Here are the picture of after connecting all the cables.

Thank you for the detailed information you shared.

As per the case description, I could understand that your ICX-7150-C12P Switch is stuck.

Basically, due to the power outage/ power spike, the switch went to a state that we call ‘boot mode’ that is not able to boot up properly. 

Please follow the below steps to fix this issue:

We will try to reset the Switch as described below:

1. Please try to disconnect from the Power outlet the ICX-7150 and reconnect.

2. Please try to press the reset button using a paper click or a small stick 

  • Remove power from the switch.
  • Press and hold the Reset button while applying power to the switch.
  • After all the system LEDs flash amber, release the Reset button.

IF RESET IS NOT WORKING, PLEASE TRY TO RESET YOUR SWITCH MULTIPLE TIMES AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

Hi Imran, 

this is me again, I am so tired and offset about this product. not that much experts my knowledge is 0 on computer. but I did  try all the steps what ever you said. I can’t work with computer to reboot the system. I need the help or Need a replacement. Please help me out. Respectfully submitted thank you.

Thank you for the response. 

Apologies, as per our process we cannot replace the Switch without trying the troubleshooting steps that are mentioned in the previous post.

As mentioned in the previous post, please try a physical reset of the Switch with a paper clip. Please refer to the video and process.

IF RESET IS NOT WORKING, PLEASE TRY TO RESET YOUR SWITCH MULTIPLE TIMES AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
