When my switch loses power for any reason it will fail to boot on it's own. I have attempted the hard reset by pressing and holding the reset button while applying power to the switch, however it doesn't appear to take. If I console into the switch and run the boot command then I'll mostly see the following error with the Primary and Secondary images:
BOOTING image from Primary
NAND read: device 0 offset 0x0, size 0x2000000
3 ecc_errors after reading 1aea000:1aebc00
iproc_nand_read_page returned 2
NAND read from offset 0 failed -22
0 bytes read: ERROR
## Loading kernel from FIT Image at 70000200 ...
Bad FIT kernel image format!
ERROR: can't get kernel image!
If I run the boot command more than a dozen times or do a reset command on console then eventually the image will load and bring functions online. I have to do this every time when the switch lost power and it's very frustrating at time. The switch is currently running firmware version SPS08090d. Is this problem indicative of a hardware failure? If so, how can I invoke the warranty?
