Got a new router from my new Wifi Provider, how do I connect to my Ruckus?

We just switched to a new internet provider. And the provider pulled in fiber optics and routed it through a modem and through a router. I asked the technician to use our Ruckus, but he refused to touch it. I'm trying to figure out how I can get the signal back to my Ruckus to repeat it through the house, because right now we're only getting the signals from the Netgear router. I've tried using an ethernet cable connection from the Netgear to my Ruckus, was wondering if this is the right way to do it? Or is there an alternative way? (i.e getting rid of the Router...

It should be Modem>Router> ( 12 ports ) ICX-7150-C12P
