Cannot Connect with ICX 7150-C12P and Two R510 AP

Hi,

When I moved into my home, it came with various smart home features including the Ruckus setup as noted in the title. Recently, the two R510 AP that are downstairs and upstairs have not been showing the LED lights. I have tried unplugging the PoE ports from both, resetting for 15 and 30 seconds, but no success; no light will not turn on.

As a result, I have been following the guide in this post by Vasquez Far to update the ICX and it has been going well until step 17:

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-Upgrade-a-Switch-ICX-...

When I enter the code:

copy disk0 flash mnz10114.bin bootrom

the CLI results in infinite lines of code that says "PoE Fatal: Vmain (48V) fault has forced all ports on slot 0 to lose power" even though the USB is plugged into the ICX correctly and the files on the USB are correct (I have to restart PuTTY to code again)

I tried searching online for answers but have not come across one that has effectively solved my problem. The closest I have reached to solving is through another post from the same person:

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-console-in-the-ICX-71...

However, I am having trouble with opening PuTTY with the correct COM (USB) port. Would appreciate some help on this issue as I cannot receive any power through both AP and cannot continue coding through the CLI without the above error.

Hi @lc578

Greetings!

Thank you for your response and the update.

Please try selecting a different IP address from the TFTP Server IP address dropdown (as shown in the screenshot below) and use that IP address in place of the current TFTP IP address in the command you provided.

Let me know if this resolves the issue.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Hi Imran,

I have tried the other TFTP IP's but they do not work. Also, the instructions say to use my computer's IP address as the IP because it will act as a server but that IP does not work either. I keep receiving the same error. Is there another approach and what would you recommend I do? Factory reset? I am not sure what else to do now because I have been covering many forums and trying to resolve my issue for days but nothing is working.

Hi @lc578

Thank you for the response and the update.

Could you please use the below mentioned files from the Drive link and try?

mnz10114.bin
SPS08080f.bin
SPS08095gufi.bin

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DdepOpf6i1csg9lC8BSt6OVGiBqwHJxe

Please try and let me know if that works.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

those are the exact same files that are in my "Upgrade" folder. What else can I try?

Hi @Ic578

Thank you for the response.

Could you please share a screenshot of the 'ipconfig' output showing the available IP addresses from the command prompt?

Thank you again for your patience.
