Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded the firmware of four switches from RDR10010f_cd1 to RDR10010g_cd2. After the upgrade, the switches did not reconnect automatically to Ruckus One cloud.
I was able to connect them manually through console commands, but then I noticed that VLAN 1 is no longer working:
The switches don’t get a valid IP address via DHCP on VLAN 1.
They only assign themselves a 169.x.x.x APIPA address.
Devices on VLAN 1 are also unable to obtain IP addresses.
Before the upgrade, VLAN 1 was working fine and the switches were automatically connecting to the cloud. This issue only appeared after moving to RDR10010g_cd2.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Is this a known bug or is VLAN 1 no longer supported as a management VLAN in this firmware version? Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Carlos.

The issue was caused by a firmware bug in version RDR10010g_cd2. After opening a support ticket, an engineer from the Ruckus team confirmed this. We waited for the release of firmware version SPR10010g_cd3 and performed the upgrade. After the upgrade, everything is working properly on the ICX 8200 model.😀
