Hi Amjad,

The Ruckus certified 10G-BASE-TX RJ-45 optic (10G-SFPP-TX-A) cannot be used for stacking.

Passive and active copper DAC cables are available and can be used for stacking.

For further details please refer to the Ruckus Optics family data sheet for further details: https://www.commscope.com/product-type/enterprise-networking/optical-transceivers/

Also be aware that 10Gb RJ45 optics have high power consumption and generate high temperatures, so it may not be possible to run 2x of these modules side-by-side.

Best regards,
Darrel.

My pleasure! 🙂

It's not possible to stack at 1Gb on any ICX 7000 series switch, regardless of the connection type (multimode/singlemode/copper).

I hope that helps,

Darrel.

thank you very much
