Purchased a gray market ICX 8200-C08ZP and it appears to be brand new in matching serial box. Device is flawless and works exactly as it should. But I noticed it is very loud with electronic noise / coil whine. The more traffic its processing the louder it is.
Was this a known issue and that is why these switches are being sold? I attempted to see if there was a way to pay for out-of-warranty service through support but I didn't get a lot of help.
Just trying to find out if this is a known issue, I only heard of this being a problem with the R770 APs, this switch being very new seems like I just received a lemon I hope. The ICX 7150-C12Ps that I am working to replace are dead silent.

I saw this post and wanted to throw in my own observations.
I have four of these and they all have noise. I was updating their firmware on my desk to 10.0.10f_cd1 and I found it to be super annoying enough to unplug them the moment I was done. I did find it weird but since they all do it I thought it was just standard for this model.
I had them all deployed at a site for a time and as far as I know they all work perfectly otherwise.

Could either of you attempt to record the sound or take a video?

Yeah I will get a recording of it later Today

Here's a quick clip of the buzzing and me pulling the power cable at the end.
Nevermind my pile of broken WAPs in the background.

Here is my phone recording directly on top of the switch then unplugging and plugging back in.
30 Second Buzzing Video.
