Is there a default password for the Ruckus EPS4000 external power supply?
I have a brand new shelf and when I try to access the ip management port, I am being prompted for a password.
I can't find any documentation on this device and am not even sure if it is manageble.

Hi James,
Most likely the prompt is from the console and not external power supply. Try this default one.
username: super
Password: sp-admin
ssh is also enabled out of the box in 08.0.90x releases.

Hi James
The EPS4000 is not configurable, the console port was included in case we wanted to add functionality in the future, but this is not something that we have seen demand for so it has not be enabled.
Monitoring of the external shelf is done via the attached 7250 switches which can report on the availability of redundant power etc.

I opened a ticket with Ruckus and was able to console into the shelf's cli.
It is configurable via console but there is no documentation.
The password is the hard to remember word "admin". There is no username by default.
This is helpful "Monitoring of the external shelf is done via the attached 7250 switches which can report on the availability of redundant power etc.". I didn't think of that. Our MSP N-Central server should be able to pick up the 2nd power supply via snmp.
Thanks.
