ICX Questions

Hi,
I have few questions about ICX
1. I want to do rollback if I didn't save manually
in Aruba using these command alias, save, job

2. I want to save config without credentials. This useful when you restore config without overwriting existing users
in Aruba using "no include-credentials"

when you disconnected, you can't do anything
no reload or reboot
no write mem

here how it work in Aruba
1. save current config as TODAY
2. set job to rollback within 1hr and count 1 (count 1 mean just run 1 time)
3. do any configuration changes within 1 hr
4. if finish in less than 1 hr then do cancel rollback job
switch will revert to TODAY config even though you disconnected

in Juniper even simpler

Hi nbctcp

We have no other way but to power cycle the ICX.  We do not have this config roll back features.

If you have no physical access to the switch then we cannot do much here.

One other way would be to change the IP subnet/address on adjacent devices to what you put on the ICX and try ssh again.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

As Hashim pointed out, We don't have an equallent cmd for config roll back, Either a  power cycle or console [if u have direct access] needed to undo the management port config.

Thanks
