ICX-7150 9.00.10 Web Service

I have just upgraded my ICX-7150 stack to release 09.00.10 from 8.0.95d and the Web interface has disappeared. If I do an nmap scan neither of the ports is open 80 or 443.

Any ideas for things to check?

Can I force the servers to start manually?

I have checked that I have all the prerequisites from the manual in place:

telnet@Stack(config)#sh web

HTTP server status: Enabled

HTTPS server status: Enabled

No web connection.

and

telnet@Stack(config)#sh user

Username                                        Password                           Encrypt   Priv Status   Expire Time

If you connect to the switch via console and change the IP address you will be able to see the GUI after that you can roll back to the old IP address.

To solve the issue you need to upgrade the image code again.

Good luck.

Hey Greg,

That is all you should need to access the web server. I have a 7150 running 9010 and can access the web GUI with no issue. Something could have happened during the code upgrade. You could retry copying the UFI image and reloading. If that doesn't work, I would advise opening a case (see my signature).

Thanks for your reply. Case opened. 🙂

I have a standalone 7250 and it works fine. It's all a bit odd.

Thanks.

Thanks for the pointer. The steps which worked for me were:

1. Cleared the IP address associated with the VE for the VLAN I am using

2. Added a different IP address to a loopback interface

3. Tried to connect a browser to the loopback address which failed.

4. Removed the IP from the loopback interface

5. Put the old IP address back on the original VE

6. Connected a browser which worked fine.
