I have some Foundry FESX424F-PREM switches. They are running version 3.1. I also have IronWare 7.2. Can I jump from 3.1 to 7.2 or are there intermediary steps I need to go through to ensure a smooth transition?

I would guess worst case is you have to recover from bootmon which isn't too hard. Again, hard to say without testing the scenario. Officially speaking, it would be at your own risk 🙂

Well, it worked on my spare, no config switch. I guess it's time to try it on the production ones.

Hi Mike,
I also have many Foundry LS624 and LS648 switches which are running Ironware version 3.1
Can you confirm you managed to update Ironware directly from version 03.1.00b to version 07.2.02r ?
