All OSPF Disappears Once Upgraded

I'm still new to RUCKUS, so please forgive any misunderstandings.

My predecessor didn't upgrade the firmware on the 7250 switches and now I'm doing it. I've noticed that some upgrade while others do not. I also noticed the ones that are 08.0.30 with compliant licenses have no issue upgrading to 08.0.95, but the ones that are non-compliant will not take 08.0.08D, then 08.0.08MC, lastly to the 08.0.95. OSPF is lost once upgrading to 08.0.08D.

Do I need to have a valid L3-Prem-LIC to get the L3 options once upgraded?

'license install perpetual 1 l3-prem'

I don't have a 7250 in front of me, but do you have the above option? Or what are the options when you tab through it?

Yes. You do need a prem license for OSPF. It should not go away during an upgrade, so it is hard to say what is happening there. Once upgraded, please run a 'show license' to see what is there. On 8095, you should just be able to apply it again via CLI:

device# license install perpetual <tab-through-for-options>

I will try this again in the morning and report back as the switch is in production. I tried license install perpetual 1 2x10g, and Y for yes to install, but OSPF still wouldn't appear. Just Router rip vrrp.

Check 'show license' and see what you have there. It's possible we need to clear the old licenses if something went wrong. 'license delete <tab>'

Hm. Confused now. When I do Show License, there is no license, but the Show Version says I have a Non-Compliant license.

"License Compliance: ICX7250-PREM-LIC-SW is Non-Compliant"
