I'm still new to RUCKUS, so please forgive any misunderstandings.
My predecessor didn't upgrade the firmware on the 7250 switches and now I'm doing it. I've noticed that some upgrade while others do not. I also noticed the ones that are 08.0.30 with compliant licenses have no issue upgrading to 08.0.95, but the ones that are non-compliant will not take 08.0.08D, then 08.0.08MC, lastly to the 08.0.95. OSPF is lost once upgrading to 08.0.08D.
Do I need to have a valid L3-Prem-LIC to get the L3 options once upgraded?

'license install perpetual 1 l3-prem'
I don't have a 7250 in front of me, but do you have the above option? Or what are the options when you tab through it?

If that doesn't work, please open a case and we can formally take a look.

#License install was not an option. I had to go from 08.0.30h to 08.0.80D, then do #license install perpetual 1 L3-Prem, then go to 08.0.90MC, lastly, go to any UFI version.
Leaving this up as it took me weeks to figure this out since I mostly do Cisco. Hopefully, someone else finds this.

Interesting. The verified upgrade path from Engineering is old code > 8080f non-UFI > anything UFI. In theory, that should work although there are a ton of patches out there at this point. Thanks for sharing.
