Smartzone 104 firmware upgrade

We are using SmartZone 104, and currently running R650, R700, and R710 access points in different zones. The firmware version of the SmartZone controller is 5.2.2.0.317. Now, we want to run R350 access points on this controller. Which firmware version should we install on the R350 so that it is supported by the controller with this firmware version?

You can upgrade your SmartZone software to 6.1.2, which supports all of those APs: https://ms264556.net/ruckus/SmartZoneFirmwareGuide.

Your R710, R350 and R650 APs can all share the same zone(s) with 6.1.2 firmware, but your R700s will have to run in a separate zone running 3.6.2 firmware.

Since 5.2.2 AP firmware doesn't support the R700, I guess you already have a zone running 5.1.x or 3.6.x firmware for these APs. If they're running 5.1.x firmware then you'll need to install the 3.6.2 AP patch so you can migrate your R700 zone to this firmware, before you upgrade your SmartZone to 6.1.2.
