Hi,
I have a zd1112 running 9.10.2.0 build 53. 9 zf7982's were automatically upgraded through a valid firmware path from an older vers (9.3 somthing)and everything has been functioning correctly for several months. I recently added our last zf7982 that had been running the old firmware and was NOT active when the previous updates too place. The ZD complains that it cannot upgrade this AP to it's current version. I've tried factory resets and several standalone firmwares but no luck so far. (9.8.3.0.14 and 100.1.0.0.194)
I still get the following errors in the logs:
ZD: Failed to upgrade AP[] image from [9.8.3.0.14] to [9.10.2.0.53] after [16] retries
AP:
Aug 13 15:39:13 RuckusAP daemon.notice Firmware Daemon[3759]: working|looking up control server IP
Aug 13 15:39:13 RuckusAP daemon.notice Firmware Daemon[3759]: working|reading control file
Aug 13 15:39:13 RuckusAP daemon.notice Firmware Daemon[3759]: failed|control file download problem
Aug 13 15:39:13 RuckusAP local2.err syslog: Firmware update error(-4)
Any tips would be appreciated.
regards,
Mike

Can you try again with a 104.0 version of the Solo AP code?

I'm just booting the ap and letting the zd add and try to upgrade the firmware automatically. Should i be doing something else?

No, that is all. Is it on the same LAN just to make things easier?
And you were able to access it in Solo mode and upgrade it, so I'm not sure what else to suggest...
