-XX02 vs. -US02.  What is the difference?

Looking at R320s.

Thanks Phil.  I purchased 4x R320s with -US02.  I learned my lesson by buying the top-of-the-line with the R700 that now isn't supported by unleashed - never again will I buy the top of the line from Ruckus -- I would have been better off to have an R500 or R600 that actually supports unleashed today.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for choosing Ruckus again.

The R700 AP was the first of the 802.11ac Wave 1 access point from Ruckus.
The R500, R600 and other 802.11ac Wave 1 access points that followed use a different CPU.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Regards,

Phil.

Thanks for the detailed info Phil.

So, the issue is that the Ruckus S/W dev team doesn't want to port the unleashed code to the older CPU?  I have to believe that the memory, FLOPs, Ops, CPI/IPC, clk, freq, process, ISA, etc, are all fine with the older CPU for something as non-compute heavy as unleashed...I'm not asking you to do machine learning/deep learning training on the thing...just support unleashed.

Thanks, -mark
