Sz 144 not adopting AP

Hi,

We have a Sz144 with firmware  version  6.1 that not showing  any  AP.

Our AP's are R350 and H550.

From SZ we can ping AP's so it's not  a connectivity  problem.

I'm thinking that  we need  a specific  firmware version  on the AP's in order for SZ to detect.

Any help please?

It was a DHCP problem,  turns out  that  option 43 was wrong, should generate a correct  hex.

Thanks.

Hi @hamza_benhamani

Sounds like this a new deployment and these are new out of box APs, usually they should come with below code and it should work with the 6.1 controller. Can you make sure the AP have the controller IP address listed ?

https://support.ruckuswireless.com/software/3142-ruckus-solo-access-point-116-0-0-0-1655-ga-software...

Login to anyone of the AP CLI and execute below command :

1) get version

2) get scg

3) get syslog log

The "1st" and "2nd" command should tell you its existing code and if they know the controller IP and the last should show the recent activity happening on the AP and if any firmware or connection failure. You can share the output of above over this post or unicast message to me if the issue persist.

Best Regards
