Ruckus ZF7372 Backup Config

brendon_meier

Hi All,

I have configured my Ruckus ZoneFlex 7372 APs as standalone APs. Is there any way I can backup the config of the one AP and reboot the other APs with that backup config file - instead of reconfiguring my other APs from scratch?

Thanks,

Brendon

Is there perhaps a CLI command that I can use to retrieve a backup?

Not sure that’s a question for ruckus forum support team

No we cannot create a backup from Solo AP, but you can capture WLAN details to help create additional AP setups.

There is a public KBA-1670: Backup on Standalone AP, but it's not appearing (I've contacted IT).  Here is the content:

No it is not possible to take a backup of standalone AP configuration today.

You can gather configuration information and use it to configure a new/factory defaulted AP though.

SSH to an AP and you can determine which WLANs are in use, and details about them.
In this example, I have one open auth WLAN on 2.4GHz, and one open and one
WPA2-PSK WLAN on 5GHz of my dual-band 7962 model AP, with no VLANs assigned.
