Is there a way to setup Radius authentication for Access Points without using a Zone Director?

Unfortunately with the current standalone AP code this is not possible, only Passphrase and WEP security.
I do not believe we have any plans on adding that feature.

Is this still the case today in 2016? Do I have to have Zone Director in order to authenticate via radius?

Hi Vince,
We got an option in standalone AP WLAN configuration ,to select encryption method as "WPA" then you could happen to choose "802.1x" and prompt to enter the Authentication server settings to get the Radius Authentication working.
Please reply to this if you got a query.
