Hi all, I've been using an R650 for a long time. Recently I got my hands on an R670 and I was excited to test it out. After connecting it to my network it grabbed its config from my existing R650 and I was off to the races.
However, after taking my R650 offline and just using the R670 for a bit I began to notice oddities on my families phones. Slack threads wouldn't load and I'd have to force close the app and re-open it. It would be fine for a bit, but then eventually fail again. Reddit was similar, I would hit the bottom of the currently loaded results and it just wouldn't load new ones. After disabling wifi all problems went away.
Then I opened up an SSH session to look into things a bit more, and I noticed that after typing ~15 - 20 characters the SSH connection would just stall. Eventually, it would close saying "Broken Pipe". If I opened the SSH terminal and did nothing, the session would last forever with no problems. Pings would also have no problems. Additionally, if I left a ping going in the background while the SSH session was going, I also had no problems.
Eventually, I tried resetting it to factory defaults and just setting up a simple WLAN config that was not part of my initial Ruckus config, that also worked fine. When I looked at all of the settings I noticed that there were really only 5 settings that were different. One of those being that by default I previously had not enabled "Application Visibility" in the "Access Settings" of my WLANs.
When I enabled this single feature leaving everything else the same, all of the problems went away. This really feels like a Firmware bug or something wrong in the Ruckus software. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Same issue here. R750s x4 with 200.19.7.11.283 (latest as of 6/24/2026). Seems more acute when using a mac wifi chip. I can only pass traffic for about 45 seconds before I have to reestablish a handshake to get it moving again. Extremely irritating.
I also pinpointed it to the application visibility -- once I disable that all is right with the world.
