No Firmware Update without Support Contract

Hi out there.
Im new to the Ruckus so please don't nail me for some Questions.
We are running a Zone director 9.1.2.0 Build.
For the acces points it is 1.0.1.4 - built 12:25:19, Jul 15 2009 ?
The system was installed in 2012.
I started to look for a firmware update after i faced the problem with the Null redirection.
To bring it together:
I have to pay for support to solve a firmware problem for a unit that is not older than 2 years ?

Hi Richard,

If you don't have any AP's that require a version of our software higher than 9.3, then you can set your sights on a ZD1000 controller. It's EOL (end of life) and probably quite a few are available on the secondary market. The final software update for that product does not require a support contract (as of a few days ago) and can be freely downloaded.

Well I have a ZD1000 deployed I want to install an update but none of the ones available will work because apparently the release I have is too old

@Andre - what are you running? If much older than 9.0, it's best to open a support case.
