We are currently experiencing an issue with our IP phone system, where the phones occasionally freeze. Additionally, when a call is answered by lifting the handset, the phone continues to ring until the caller disconnects, even though the call is already picked up.
Current Switch Configuration:
VLAN 10: Voice (tagged)
VLAN 20: Data (untagged)
and another port just configure untagged on VLAN 10
Issues Observed:
IP phones are intermittently freezing.(no Issue for poe)
In some cases, calls continue to ring even after being answered.
we propose implementing QoS with DSCP 46 and assigning maximum priority for the VLAN carrying the IP phones.
Could you kindly confirm the recommended QoS configuration or suggest an alternative configuration scenario to ensure stable voice traffic performance?
