Hi @markandro,

Thank you for reaching out to us via the forum.

Please confirm the Controller version and the AP Zone version on the controller. What are the AP models? If you
have access to the CLI please execute the below commands "get scg", "get version" and share the outputs.

This will help us verify if the AP is running on a compatible version with the controller or not.

If the APs were only deleted and reset and the firmware was not changed nor the APs were connected to a different controller then you can try executing the command "set scg ip <IP of the controller>" and verify if the AP shows up on the controller.

Please let us know if you have any queries related to the steps shared above and update us with the results.

Thank you!

AP Model: Ruckus ZoneFlex R510

Ruckus VSZ Controller Version: Virtual SmartZone Essentials 6.1.0.0.935

Hi @markandro
R510 AP is supported on the 6.1.0.0.035. Just follow the below steps:
1. Login to the AP CLI (SSH) using default credentials (super\sp-admin)
2. Ensure that the AP firmware version is 6.1.x.x using the command "get version".
3. To connect to the vSZ use the command "set scg ip x.x.x.x (x.x.x.x is the controller IP).
4. AP will be connected to the controller.

Hi @markandro

Since you have deleted the AP and trying to re-join to the controller, I believe the AP is still in the same firmware (vSZ firmware).
You can cross verify from the AP CLI using the command "get version" it should be something like 5.x.x.x or 6.x.x.x.

If yes, then you can use the below command to connect to the vSZ
set scg ip x.x.x.x (x.x.x.x is the controller IP).

Since these APs were previously connected to vSZ, there should not be any issues.

If the APs were connected to different controller like Unleashed or Zonedirector, then you need to upgrade the AP to standalone version 114 or 110 version then you can use the above command to connect to vSZ.

Note:
Ensure that the vSZ is having sufficient license under the System page.
