Hi guy your AP should be reconnect himself to the ZD.
Just make sure that your wire are right and you network parameter such as Ip address are right

At the moment I can'tg any contact with the AP - I have take it Down and set it directly in my Network but still no contact with the AP - so I think it's dead - but I don't know

What about ethernet link? Is it blinking?

may want to try a hard reset on the AP. Then verify it is operational by connecting to it directly using the default IP. Once verified it is operational, plug it back into your network and it should find the 1200 and get it's configuration.
