Long time Ruckus user here. What Abi and Paul said is indeed correct, but that should not be a problem if you have remote access to the Router/Gateway on-site. Here is why I say this.
After you firmware upgrade the WAP and it resets, it will grab an IP address from a DHCP server on the boot up. Just monitor your DHCP leases and you should be able to get back into it to configure it. Use port forwards or VPN to access it on the new IP address.
I have had it before where the WAP goes haywire and stops working during the setup remotely. Just have someone power cycle it on-site.
