Clients can't get IP from Standalone 7025 Ruckus and Island SSID shown

Hi, we are a hotel and using approx. 30 Ruckus-7025 devices. They are connected to HP PoE switch and there is no controller as they are working on standalone mode. AP's create an additional wifi network called "Island" in every 2 -3 days and clients have a warning on their phones as "can't get IP from device". Device firmware version is up to date as 100.0.0.0.128 We are using an interface called Cryptospot. We also have Cisco standalone devices but they don't have this issue. IP lease period is 24 hours. Any help is muchly appreciated.

Hi Halit,

Island SSID is only broadcast by APs when they are unable to reach their gateway.

Please check and make sure APs are not loosing network connection to gateway.

If this is happening because of DHCP lease time, try to set 1-2 APs with static IP and monitor them to see if issue occurs or not.
