Assistance Needed – R720 AP LAN2 Port Down When Connecting PC

Hi all,
We have connected a PC to LAN2 on the Ruckus R720 access point, but the port is still showing as down. Could someone please confirm whether this port supports a direct PC connection? If it is supported, kindly suggest troubleshooting steps.

Hi Sandeep,

Could you please confirm how the AP is powered?

The AP needs to be powered using a Poe injector or a 802.3 AT for the LAN 2 port to be active.

Refer to Power section on page 6 of below datasheet:

Share the output of below command from AP CLI:

#get power-mode

If the power mode is AF, use the below command to change it to AT.

# set power-mode AT (Make sure the switch port is providing the 802.3AT)
