When ZoneDirector does a lookup for the DNS entry of zonedirector.. is it querying for zonedirector.domain.local or just 'zonedirector'
I ask because I have a site where cross subnet discovery doesn't seem to be working, and the DNS record only seems to be resolving with zonedirector.domain.local but not 'zonedirector' (some sort of issue on the local DNS server i'd guess)
Can anyone shed some light?
thanks

Hello Don,
DNS does use the domain.local hostname resolution, and requires definition of both IPs if your ZDs are in Smart Redundancy.
